Rotary Wetland, Narromine

This is a reserve with large constructed wetlands and revegetated woodland areas. The wetland areas host a modest variety of egrets, ducks and herons, with woodland birds like Spiny-cheeked Honeyeaters, thornbills and Rufous Whistlers returning to the revegetated areas.

A pleasant walk in the morning.

From an education perspective it has waterbirds, frogs, reeds and all you’d expect from a wetland, plus walking trails. Ideal for school group excursions or family fun.

Plus, recently added are six wetland education signs scattered at intervals around the walking trails.

There are picnic tables and a toilet block on site.
