Great place for a picnic, swimming, fishing and canoeing. Not far from Dubbo. See Fishing trail also.
Sealed road all the way. There are toilets and rubbish bins. Access to the river is good as the beach is shallow and with gravel. There is no concrete boat ramp. Tent-based camping allowed. No caravans or campervans.
If coming from the Geurie direction along the Old Dubbo Road turn left at Lazy River Estate and follow that road for about 2 kilometres until you see the green sign into the reserve. From Dubbo follow the Old Dubbo Road signs and turn right at Lazy River Estate – then proceed about 2 kilometres to the reserve. See map River Parks map – coming soon.
The area is managed by Dubbo City Council.

Right on it!
Bril Bral Reserve is a few kilometres upriver; Lazy River Estate plus the Pioneer Cemetery and Pilcher’s Reserve (you pass the turnoff to these on the way to Butlers Falls). Carolines Reserve is on the road from Dubbo. Then there are all Dubbo’s attractions.
